Share and learn. That’s the motto of the first International Vets Congress, taking place on 22 and 23 October 2010 in Rotterdam. Agri Nutrition, along with Vi-Cor, is the main sponsor of this international congress for veterinarians, organised by Reed Business.

During the two-day event, veterinarians from all over the world will come together to share experiences in the field of swine, poultry and cattle disease, new legislation, and the use of antibiotics. Activities will include workshops per animal group and visits to modern farms.

Animal health

The International Vets Congress is a perfect opportunity to veterinarians to share knowledge and experience and learn from each other. This includes learning about the newest products in the field of animal health. Such as the Vi-Cor products Agri Nutrition imports to Europe from the USA – about which both companies will give educational workshops and lectures. One of these products is Celmanax; supplemental animal feed based on yeast.

Less antibiotics

Celmanax consists of several healthy ingredients, such as metabolites that promote stomach function, thereby promoting better health. It also contains MOS (a solid base for good bacteria to grow on), Mannose (which binds pathogens), Galactosamine (which inhibits Cryptosporidium/Coccidose), Glucans (which bind mycotoxins) and Glucosamine (which has a positive effect on inflamed joints). All interesting ingredients if the aim is to reduce the use of antibiotics in cattle farming.
